We're going to the annual Brady Goat Cook-off this weekend.
My friend (who's originally from California and always up for observing ways in which Texas culture differs from that of her homeland) informed me this morning that she had planned to beg us to invite her, but then she got an invitation to attend another friend's family gathering, which will purportedly be populated by rednecks drinking Bud Lite.
What does she think a "Goat Cook-off" is???
