Whirlwind Tour, Part III: Church Campout

In spite of the fact that P missed half of the campout (leaving me to lose track of Luke and Sarah all by myself on Saturday) - and that we picked an unfortunate year to switch to tent-camping (a 15-minute-long flash flood forced the kids out of their beds and into our queen-sized air mattress around midnight) - we were once again grateful to be a part of a weekend of fun and fellowship with our church family. This year was extra special because so many of our friends and their families were able to attend - and so the kids had the best time playing and fighting, getting unbelievably dirty and sometimes frighteningly lost, eating whatever they could forage, skipping naps, and sleeping incredibly well through the night in spite of the weather.
