The "Pointed Finger"

Perhaps as a reaction to her overly verbose brother, Sarah has begun perfecting alternate means of communication. I am thrilled to report that she is using one of the signs I have labored to teach her, and she has quite a repertoire of shrieks that - while varied enough to comprise a language all their own - cannot truly qualify as "spoken word."

However, her preferred method of late appears to be that of the "pointed finger." It is distinctly reminiscent of another figure who favored such a means of communication....

Thankfully, Sarah is much less scary when she does it. (But no less determined. Pity the mom who does not follow Sarah's appointed path...)
